Photos From My Birthday Party

Switching things up on the normal photos from the weekend because today is my birthday and yesterday was my birthday party! Besides, most of the weekend was spent getting ready for the party, so not a lot to take photos of.

I

You might remember that last year Juli and I threw a joint birthday party with a Super Sweet Sixteen theme. It was a lot of fun and a crazy party. We wanted to have another joint birthday party this year and decided to have a birthday brunch!

I spent most of Saturday and all of Sunday morning baking food for the guests. I wasn’t sure how many people to expect and wasn’t sure if they would be bringing any food either. I made the coffee cake and cinnamon rolls from Vegan Brunch, corn pudding from Veganomicon and also made some pumpkin scones.

Juli and I invited a lot of people, but I wasn’t sure how many would actually show up, but we packed them in to our apartment!

There were even kids!

And some of my blogging friends even showed up!

It was a lot of fun to have a brunch party and get to see all your friends on a random Sunday afternoon.

And while it probably wasn’t as wild as last years party, it definitely had it’s crazy moments.

The cats were on their best behavior.

I was really stressed out about the party leading up to it, but it ended up great and I think everyone had a lot of fun.

Once the majority of people left it turned into a dance party.

And then for the most anti-climatic birthday party ending…I fell asleep. Haha.

Thank you everyone for coming! It was a blast being able to have all my friends at my apartment and you all made it a super awesome and special day. And thanks Eric for obviously being the best ever and cleaning the apartment while Grissom and I slept on the couch, ha.
