Sweet Freedom is a vegan bakery who is also gluten, corn, wheat, peanut, and soy free who also does not use refined sugars. With a laundry list like that you would think their desserts couldn’t be that good, right? Wrong… I think a lot of people hear “gluten-free” and equate that to tasteless, boring, dry, ect. I love that Sweet Freedom proves that you can be vegan/allergenic free and make AMAZING sweet treats. If your ever in the area defiantly a must try establishment and if not they do ship their desserts as well. I can’t wait to try out some more of their offerings.
For my 24th birthday Lauren surprised me with a birthday cake from them and it was easily the best cookie cake I have ever had. Unlike most it was moist, tender, and oh so rich. I really don’t know how they do it. Birthday chocolate chip cookie cake goodness!
