Monk’s Cafe is always voted one of the best beer bars in the US and for that reason alone you need to check it out. Its a bit of a dreary/dark bar but that yields more than an impressive bottle/draught list (that looks a bit more like a novel than a list) with different beers on tap at the front and rear bars. If your not into beer and came just for the food don’t worry, they also have plenty of rotating vegetarian/vegan options to chow down on. Eric took some pictures of the food last time we were there, but sadly none came out. I ordered the vegan burger, Eric ordered the seitan meatballs and his mom ordered the seitan cheesesteak.
