Memphis Taproom might be a bit out of your way but worth the trip because they have the best veganburger I’ve had yet in Philly. They also have an excellent beer selection on tap and in bottles as well as plenty of well identified vegetarian and vegan options. They also have a vegan chocolate cake for dessert handmade by the people at baked.
Flights are $10 and are an excellent way to try out some new beers and/or help if you can’t decide on just one.
They also serve (from what I hear) excellent bloody mary, but I would rather enjoy a beer mamosa (wheat beer & OJ) with my brunch!
For brunch they will gratuitously substitute eggs for tofu scramble and cycle through a seasonal vegan french toast. Pumpkin stuffed french toast below was good but the portion was a bit small all by itself.
Eric’s Picks
Brunch: Vegan Rooster, Tofu scramble with vegan blood sausage, smoked coconut, roasted new potatoes and toast.
Lunch/Dinner: Veggieburger with the addition of smoked coconut.
Lauren’s Pick
Lunch/Dinner: Either the salad with a side of fries

Or the veggieburger with the addition of smoked coconut and a side of beer mustard.

I agree, best veggie burger I’ve had so far in Philly! I get it w/o the bun ‘cos I like to keep room for the fries.
Last time I was there, they had a vegan choc. peanut butter pie, yum!
