Another great veg friendly restaurant in Liberties Walk that we like to frequent, especially for brunch. They have plenty of vegetarian/vegan options which are clearly marked on the menu which make it easy. I need to go back and look through photos but we’ve eaten there a few times for lunch/dinner. Since we judge places a great deal on there fries we tried them out the first time were were there. They sever you a HUGE portion of hand cut mix of regular and sweet potato fries. They are one the larger side and fried to a perfect crisp. I have a lot to try on the menu and unfortunately was not thrilled with the mac and cheese when I had it last. For me it was way way to acidic with an over use of lemon. I plan on trying it again but wish that for ~$7 a sandwich they would include a small portion of a side.
I would say we usually go for brunch since the line isn’t usually too long being it is a small restaurant. For brunch if I’m feeling hungry I like Tofu Scramble with Veggies. I’m not a huge tofu eater, especially if its not crispy so for me my only complaint was the cubes of tofu were a bit large but really enjoyed the variety of vegetables. Also like the fries the home fries are excellent.
Lauren usually opts for the granola crusted vegan french toast. Just to warn you both options are large sizes. Lauren and I usually will get an order of french toast with an extra side of home fries and split it since its a huge amount. I’d go out and say its the best vegan french toast in Philly and definitely worth trying.
And sometimes they’ll even serve you complimentary goodies while your waiting for your food. We were quiet surprised/excited when our server told us it was blueberry bread. More savory than sweet and so so good!
